Important information

In November, there will be a meeting with students who come to study at Samara Polytech from near and far abroad. Representatives of the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in the Samara Region will tell international students about the basic rules of stay in Russia, as well as about counteraction of extremist and terrorist acts. Students will know about the rules of conduct at the university and the university campus and get information about extracurricular activities.

On February the 12th and October the 28th, 2020, the educational and cultural center of Samara Polytech will arrange a local history tour of Samara for foreign students. During the excursion, students will get knowledge about the history of Samara and visit the main sights.

In April, there will be a gala amateur talent concert of students «Student Spring». The event will be held in the concert hall of Academic Building 1. Thirteen faculties will participate in the event.

Industry experts’ feedback on the quality of the educational program

Marcel’ M. Khatmullin, Director of the West Siberian Branch of Burovaya Kompaniya Eurasia LLC:

— Currently, 230 specialists - graduates of the Drilling of Oil and Gas Wells Department (21.03.01 Oil and Gas Engineering) are employed in our branch office. Their success has shown that the quality of professional training meets the qualification requirements necessary for effective production. All the university graduates demonstrate independence, the ability to find the right solution in complex production issues and apply the knowledge gained in practice to the full extent.

It should also be noted that the Polytech graduates are always distinguished by a search for professional development and career growth, an interest in obtaining new information, broadening their horizons. Young specialists will always be able to realize their potential in the Burovaya Kompaniya Eurasia LLC in the specialties necessary for solving priority tasks in production.

— Representatives of Transneft PJSC are actively involved in the implementation of the educational program «Operation and Maintenance of Facilities for Transportation and Storage of Oil, Gas and Refined Products». They equip classrooms, which helps to improve the quality of the educational process. Staff members of the Department annually do internships at the facilities of Transneft Volga JSC.
