Upon graduating from the program, students obtain skills and competencies in the fuel and energy area which includes field development, transportation and storage of hydrocarbons.

The graduate’s professional tasks:

  • To carry out the technological processes of construction, repair, reconstruction and restoration of onshore and offshore oil and gas wells;
  • To operate and maintain the technological equipment used in the construction, repair, reconstruction and restoration of onshore and offshore oil and gas wells;
  • To carry out technological processes of oil and gas recovery, collection and preparation of production fluid;
  • To operate and maintain the technological equipment used in oil and gas recovery, collection and preparation of production fluid;
  • To carry out field monitoring and regulation of hydrocarbon recovery;
  • To carry out technical works following the technological regulations for drilling, oil and gas fields development, transport and storage of hydrocarbons;
  • To execute engineering and process documentation for the operation of oil and gas field equipment.

As a result of mastering the Bachelor’s program, the graduate should have the following competencies:

  • The selection of the most efficient operation method for oil and gas wells taking into account energy-efficient technologies;
  • The reasonable technology selection for subsurface repair and construction of oil and gas wells;
  • The technical and economic efficiency determination of onshore and offshore oil and gas fields development and operation.
