New Partner from Tanzania

Samara Polytech participated in the first meeting of the intergovernmental Russian-Tanzanian commission on trade and economic cooperation, held in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania’s largest city.

Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Anna Zotova met with representatives of leading Tanzanian universities. These discussions culminated in the signing of a cooperation agreement between Samara Polytech and the University of Dodoma.

Anna Zotova said, “With our new partner, we plan to develop educational programs in Architecture, Construction, and Ecology. Our Tanzanian colleagues have shown particular interest in joint research on water resource ecology. Another promising area of collaboration is information technology.”

The event was organized by the Russian Ministry of Economic Development and chaired by Minister Maxim Reshetnikov.
