Students were recognized for their achievements in science, sports, community service, and creative work.

On July 3, Polytechnic University traditionally honored the winners of the university's Golden Fund. This year, the names of 46 of the most active, responsible, and creative students were inscribed in the Book of Outstanding Alumni.

Polytechnic University's birthday ," noted university Rector Dmitry Bykov . "Our graduates are our pride and joy, the technological future of Russia. They hold Samara Polytech banner high , working for their region, and serving their country. They have everything they need: knowledge and professional skills. Companies are already eager to hire them. And of course, our university needs our graduates as scientists, researchers, and teachers! We have many opportunities to apply your talent and exceptional abilities. The university's doors are always open to all Polytechnic students ."

The graduates were also congratulated by Deputy Chairman of the Samara Region Government Vyacheslav Romanov .

"All doors are open to graduates now," he emphasized. "But we must never forget who opened them. Each of our students has a long professional journey ahead of them, during which they will still have much to learn. But our first—and most beloved—teachers were right here, at the Polytechnic ," he emphasized. "Lifelong learning is not a pompous metaphor; it is our future. Artificial intelligence and other innovations will soon transform our lives. And today's graduates—engineers, technologists, designers—must be at the forefront of technological development."

Dmitry Bykov then presented letters of gratitude and Golden Fund honorary badges to the graduates who won in the "Research and Development" categories, while Vyacheslav Romanov awarded the students in the "Community Service" category. First Vice-Rector and Vice-Rector for Educational Work and Human Resource Development Evgeny Frank recognized the Polytechnic students for their achievements in cultural activities. Deputy Chairman of the Samara City District Duma Marat Gabdrakhmanov congratulated the top athletes .

It's noteworthy that for the fourth year in a row, the Golden Fund includes a student from abroad . Amir Ghassan Mohammed from Palestine graduated from the Faculty of Architecture and Design. He is an active participant and organizer of international community events. As a reminder, in previous years, two Egyptians, both graduates of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, joined our Golden Fund: Soliman Ahmed Yahya Mohamed Ali and Mohamed Ali Ahmed Abdelghani . The first foreign "golden" graduate in the history of Samara Polytech was Viki Wira Kusuma, a representative of the Institute of Petroleum Technologies from Indonesia.

The honorary duty of presenting the Golden Fund alumni book to the rector was traditionally entrusted to the best graduate of 2026. Alena Ignovatova , representing the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, delivered a response on behalf of the students and thanked the university administration for the extensive opportunities Samara Polytech offers its students.
