Samara Polytech Presentation Competition Open
High school and University students introduce their projects in English
April 15 Samara Polytech sets IX International Presentation Competition in English «Leaders of a New World: the Skills, Vision, and Mindset of Change» organized as usual by «Pedagogic, Crosscultural Communication and Russian as Foreign Language» Department supported by Texas A&M University Texarkana (USA). This year the event will be held online.
Bachelor and Master Students, Specialists and also High and Secondary school Students are invited. The Competition takes two stages: online-presentation via Zoom and pre-uploading creative video on YouTube Channel. Non-participants may enter the event as listeners as well.
Presentation and Video Topics:
- Business and professional skills of a successful leader: «soft skills», including leading effective meetings, negotiation skills, public speaking, project management etc.
- Leadership styles and employee engagement: making your team successful and engaged.
- Transformational leadership and crisis management.
- Leadership skills in today’s digital age, including e-leadership in virtual teams.
- Leaders in the world of instability, polarization and uncertainty.
- Leadership: why emotions matter.
- Leading innovation and sustainability: managing new technologies, including recyclable materials, renewable resources, clean energy, etc.
- Leading and managing educational change and improvement.
The winners will be awarded Diplomas and all the speakers will get Certificates. Heads of international companies and university professors from Russia, the USA, Canada and the UK are to present the Jury Panel.
Attendees may visit the webinars and workshops by leading Russia’s and international experts in Language Teaching.
